New Updates!

Hey all! Its been a while yet again. I've been busy with work so yep. But anyway, I've just finished another model of mine. This time, its the famous M4A1 Carbine, without any modifications or addons as of yet. Here it is then.







So yeah. That's it. I'm working on the Animation part of my 3D assignment for now. Will post it up when its done. Take care all! :)

A short break... not the best but better than none anyway

Phew... its been a while I guess?

Well managed to find sometime to update this blog of mine... just finished off all of my assignments so far... Though there are some new ones coming, Im just taking a breather first... too much work can kill. Finally able to sit down and play some games as well, though I have to admit I havent been writing or drawing so far... just aint got the time yet... 3D's progress is kinda slow too... at least things arent as hectic as before...

On a good note, there's a PTN gathering in the following week, at Seoul Garden... something like a class buffet. Now that's fun. Not to mention we just had a so called gathering a week or two ago when we were doing our community service. We did it together with our buddy class... now that's fun too.

Well... home side, my old friends are asking me to go for a LAN party tommorow... not sure if i can make it in time though... lessons end kinda late... guess i'll have to let em know tommorow though.. I miss the good ol LAN party times somewhat...

Hey All... Its been a long time since updates yeah? Well to tell you the truth... even now with my current assignment schedule... I barely have time to really write this blog entry... but anyways updates on my activities :P

The usual Saturday and Sundays gatherings, that's like the only source of relaxation i have these days :(.

The rest of the time is mainly spent on more and more assignments... heck E-learning adds to the work haha... at least my work is nearing completion... so far I have very little 3D updates save for my Assignment 2.... So anyways... here's a preview of it...












Well that's basically everything so far... heck i really feel like its been a long day everyday... I seriously need a break now....

Interesting Lecturers > Boring Lecturers

Current State: Tired as Usual... Shit I really need a day or two off..

Quite a tiring week but at least the lecturers are more interesting that those in the last semester... at least they make the class more lively by having funny moments and etc.
Nice modules such as Video and Audio Fundamentals are present too... this one in particular will teach us how to do post-production and editing of videos and audio files. Quite interesting.
The rest are mainly leftovers from last semester : 3DF, DVDE, Storywriting, Java.
(At least now the present Java lecturer makes the lesson interesting by interacting with us more rather than just blabbering off like the one in the earlier semester)

Wierdly the first week is supposed to be the most relaxed week.. but hell.. I have so many things to do already... 1st 3D assignment has been put up... and I have to help out in the SMIT Talentime this Friday.. and I'm missing a lesson for it >.<

Oh well... nothing much to talk about now... catch me later... shit I'm feeling damn lethargic now...

Went out with Bun and company to Liang Court to get some stuff... Japanese stuff mainly... Bun's got some books and Ben Ng too...

Tuesday
LTC Outing. Got contacted by En Qi for an outing to East Coast Park. Gotta admit... its kinda fun mixing with those dudes.. Flew some kites, played some ball games.. but sadly.. spend alot on fast food lols.. dang.. that's the major cause of my financial problems this week.. but still in my opinion fun > money concerns...

Wednesday - Friday
ICE Camp (Man I'm starting to feel a bit tired from all these camps lol)
Well... this was one of the more boring and slow camps I've been through.. long delays between events and such... hopefully the 08/09 one will be better though

Saturday
Usual gathering...
Only lacking Bun who had to stay at home for the weekend due to his parents forbidding him from going out... Wierdly Galahad requested for a schoolgirl hostage model for his Counter-Strike but then oh well... I just gave it to him

Sunday
Went out to Orchard, Takashimaya with Galahad and co. to get some stuff... well.. at least Galahad's got his share of Japanese magazines, he's got one called Myogo and also another book.. regarding a daughter of a Yakuza. Then again the usual gathering at my place.. lawls its starting to feel wierd without bun around.. but oh well what to do haha.

School's starting tommorow... at least its a new semester with new modules, hope they aint THAT boring..

Oh well.. kinda tired out now.. catch you all another time then :)

Heh, its been a long time since I've updated. Well never mind that cause well.. yep here's the latest update :)

What I've been doing?
Time to get that dust off you Maya, you havent been touched in a while...

I just returned from a gruelling 4 day 3 nights leadership camp, under SMIT. It was harsh and I came back with many souveniers : A blade, a lightstick I took with me , many sandfly and mosquito bites from Pulau Ubin. Hell, now those insects are crazy things... my legs' are full of the remnants of their bites...I should have brought along a pair of track pants and insect repellant...

Then after that.. a nice surprise for a change.. Ian asked me to go with him to a Japanese Senior High School. Waseda Senior High



Went in there for a look.. kinda interesting place...





Also.. Galahad got a nice present from Ian too.. one of Shimokawa Mikuni's album.

I'm adding another weapon model to my to-do-list for Maya, the Beretta 92F... Also I'm starting to revamp my writing universe by cutting down the number of characters at the moment...Here's a sample of the roster:

Weapons, organisations and such might change as well... so far, Sakura's the only one I've used in my Storywriting module in school... I havent been drawing in a while too... might wanna pick up my pencil and start drawing again...

Oh well... next week's got another camp (at least it aint as harsh as the leadership camp). Dang im missing out alot of my holidays >.<. At least my usual gatherings aint interrupted...anyways, I'll end here... have a good day all.

So far its been pretty hectic...
The 3 chalets have ended... man the fun in those events can never be described in words... only the feelings of the heart can explain how they were
SMIT,Primers and 1B/22 07... You guys rock a ton...

And dang i didnt go for today's Primer's outing. Bun and Co. were at my place so yeah.. and yep Bun's into manga drawing.. hope he makes it and James is on his Castlevania lols.. for me? Meh the usual... some things about me dont change does it? Hehe.

Well at least now took a breather and at least I had some time to do up one of my gun projects

1st week of the Offical Holiday.. and its already so packed with Reunions? O.o

Well... its been a fun week.

Lsat Saturday... Bun's got a good deal on figurines at the Chara Fest and bought 3 models (or was it 4?) at discounted prices during a promotion hour at one of the shops there. Pretty happy man there. He's also been working on Melty Blood. Last time i saw him.. his fighter could only hit 9. but now its 21 hits. Not bad :P

Sadly.. D.C II S.C wasnt working that well for him.. he needed some CD Key which he's looking for now.. Hope he can get it working.

Today.. Had a fun day over at Coasta Sands Chalet.. SMIT MITO... I helped out with the barbeque and well it was lacking of freshies but well at least managed to know some seniors at least. The funniest thing that happened was the all-guys strip poker. Lawl... one of the players was down to his boxers. By then it was late so oh well.. I took an early leave.

And for tommorow? I have to send a friend of mine , Jeremiah , off at the airport. He's going to Dubai for studies. Though i have known him only for a short while, he's still a nice guy. Hopefully, he can excel over in Dubai and keep in touch with us. You will be missed, my friend.

I also have two chalets upcoming, one on the 30th and another on 4th Sept. One's my Primers Group Chalet, the other, well.. my class's chalet :P

Oh well... have tons of things planned for this holiday too, study more anime drawings, more modelling (I'm working on a G36C assault rifle atm, gonna work on other weapons like the PSG-1, P228 Pistol and so on and oh, a human model) and of course if i really have time, More writings.

That's it! WEBP is over and now its the holidays for about 5 weeks woohoo! Oh well... went to watch Bourne Ultimatum with a group of friends of mine... damn nice show, very action packed and immersive story...

Then on Saturday, usual gathering except for Bun, Nice Exams :P ending on Tuesday and he'll be free from then on..

Sunday? A short stayover at a friend's place, played some LAN games together :P Playing alone = boring, playing with friends = priceless.

Today? Nice class gathering at this place called Settlers in Buona Vista. Not a bad place, good food , good ambience and nice unique board games to play as well. Our Personal Tutor, Daryl Lim, set up this gathering for us. Nice lecturer we've got there :) Thanks Daryl!. After that, went down to Bugis and walked around while part of the class went to Sim Lim regarding some job interviews... but in the end we still went to the arcade and played some games.. Saw one game Bun was interested in, Melty Blood and well told him about it and wow, what an excited guy he was :P.
Oh well I'm back home now, doing some Maya models for fun.. well catch me on the internet or MSN then! :)

Phew.. at least Java is out of the way... one of my most hated modules but well... I have no choice but to do it... if i dont pass... I cant advance to Year 2 (Now that's not a very very good thing there!) sigh.. holidays are coming soon.. but there's Maths and WEBP in the way. Time to get cracking and slack off later i suppose.

State of the Day : Relieved.. phew..

Man, what a hectic week this week is >.<. So many things happened so far. Handed up Maya and presented my tank model to the class and my lecturer... sadly he's leaving hopefully he'll be alright and my model too lol. OC Presentation... time didnt allow me to present my speech so oh well its postphoned to next Tuesday, at least there's more time to prepare and that's a good thing.

Went for mounting at Bras Basah for my DVDE assignment, crap it burned a hole in my pocket but at least that's the final assignment for DVDE in this sem. WOOT!

Well.. for today, went to watch the Simpsons movie after maths class today, IDEAS was cancelled but lol that slot was occupied by a short briefing on GEMs, our auxiliary modules, which we can take to compliment our diploma. Anyway, the movie was good, kinda funny even to a non-fan like me though i rather be watching more serious films like the upcoming Die Hard 4.0 and Hitman.

Friday's a good day always, a good break day for me lol. After today, i gotta go work on my personal Maya projects, STSB and WEBP assignments then finally prepare for my tests... oh well for now, time to go kill some people in a virtual world... :P

Well.. that's the update on my works for now..

For today, I went to help Kang with his Maya today and well.. Ash, Ling, Yitao and Gordon were there at the Library too so oh well had some fun together :) Hopefully Kang can still remember what I taught him lawl :P he always seems to be a bit muddleheaded.

Oh well im dead beat. Time to sign off for now. :)

Update for the week

Status: Feeling the lack of proper rest and relaxation

The coming weeks are turning out to be more a killer than before... So many assignments... WEBP, STSB, DVDE (This one i had better double time on it) , 3DF and wow nice Java test coming soon (And im an idiot at it >.<) , at least I got through maths but the big one is coming... guess I have to start preparing. Oh well time to unwind for a while :).

This week was kinda interesting. We had a large class outing to Jurong Point on Wednesday and lol had some fun there.. we went to the Arcade to play and I'm amazed at Ming Yong.. He's not bad at Time Crisis 4, he cleared the game without dying.. Man that's damn professional. The rest of us played some Daytona , Lethal Enforcers too.. Then we went upstairs to play pool. I didnt join in though.. was rather tired but in the end was "persuaded" to join for one small game.. Damn cold was affecting my performance.. Heck I was wearing 3 layers!! In the end we all went back to school to attend some talk by Alaric Tay, a director who talked about film directing and techniques, which were kinda interesting and the shows he made were damn comedial I've gotta admit.

That reminds me.. damn OC writing on Tuesday.. felt like O levels lol. Had to write out my speech on paper using pen ink. Maya... new technique acquired - Bump Mapping and Texturing and Rendering Techniques Man i love that but I want to perfect my sculpting first.

Stupid me today... I fell over a charger wire and landed in a wierd position, as if i was doing a pushup.. hands on the floor, legs up, bag on my head. (It felt wierd for a moment....) Must be the lack of relaxation...

Sigh.. I'm getting slow.. takes me a while to get something these days..

Oh well nvm that now to go rest and have a good night's sleep. Work calls again tommorow...

Update for the week

Another gathering...

Status : Intensive Concentration

My house was yet again turned into a lan shop by Bun and co. lol. Luckily I had a multi-plug power point or else there would not be enough space for the chargers at the rate they were playing :P

Quite some fun time again i suppose... after that went to Liang Court for a Japanese Meal. WOW! One bento = 10.90 at least. Man.. that would be a big chunk out of my fianances so instead i settled for a soba noodle meal for 6 dollars.. Didnt want to spend too much cause I'm saving for Solid State Society.
Then went up to Kino and Bun and Ben Ng bought some Jap books and wow Bun asked Ben Ng to help him out with the payment lol. Guess Bun will return him someday somehow. He always seems so happy when he gets his hands on his Visual Novel stuff and what not.

But in the end we all went home after all that fun...

Came home and took a rest then went to play a bit, do some STSB and then did some minor changes to my drawing style... after hearing my friend's advice regarding character hair and eye types... So i went to work on the Kisaragi Sisters... Kisaragi Sakura and Kisaragi Kasumi



Since Sakura's a serious character, i did smaller eyes and gave her a less feminine look instead to reflect her character.



For Kasumi, she's a more cheerful and cute person so i did the opposite effect, larger eyes and a more feminine look..


Well... guess that's all for today pretty tired now... Will post more stuff next time :)

Mood of the day: Happy and relaxed

Well.. its been a while since I last updated my blog.. so here goes :P

Over the past 3 days, its been pretty mundane nothing much new except maybe my SMIT Logistics meeting and an AGM that occured not too long ago...

Oh well... today we had a meeting at 5pm but wow I finished at 12pm? Then stayed with my class till 1300 hours ++? Had some fun chatting together.. then after that some of us went home to rest while some went to play pool at Moberly Block.. I went home to rest before coming down for the meeting. Wow it was so short and I had the post of Participant Liason in our upcoming Talentime event for SMIT and also logistics support. So In the end I went home to rest then a friend came over... so yeah...

Man... its a tiring day.. but anyway update on my current works :P

Well today marks the end of the stressful week... Hell got a Maths Test to study for, Matrixes and Set Theory... WEBP and DVDE Work to submit, a report and sketches respectively... barely sleeped these few days but no matter the week is already over! :)

Today even went out with my Sec Sch friends to watch Transformers the Movie after my SMIT Meeting (Damn had to wait for a long time from 2pm to 5:30pm due to the a class being cancelled :( ). Man it was solid , all the special effects, CG and animation and all. Overall its a nice show and its kinda cool watching the mechas transform and battle it out with one another. I would recommend fans of Transformers and Mecha action to watch it.

Hopefully I can pass the maths test and the lecturers would be satisfied with my submitted assignments... now got to get OC, WEBP done and touch up my Maya model... However, over the holidays I will be at least drawing something and I've completed a "for fun" Maya model which is here :

Well now that's done I seriously need some rest...

We just return from the holidays and wow they throw a chunk of stuff at us already... what else but more assignments and a maths test that will take up 15% of the module... And wow submit DVDE sketches and WEBP draft by this friday... Guess Thursday's gonna be a sleepless day... Sigh.. oh well can't talk much now, doing my Maths... catch up later :)

Carl's Jr? Sand? Sweat?

Current State: Sleepy

Well today was a rather long day and tiring too, too tired to do much at the moment haha. First thing in the morning at 11am, Basketball meeting but well... as usual I was late...again.. gotta get more sleep these days.. school's starting soon. No match but sadly Ming Yong didnt come :( but he's got a surprise for us instead, but we still carried on playing but well met a friend of Zaidi's and Terence's, didnt play much but still well at least we played :P. In the end they exchanged some videos containing some funny stuff lol. After that was done, KFC! then on to Sentosa to meet my other friends!

Played around with the sand and all at Sentosa.. Zaidi was like taking photos on the way on the monorail and i kept asking if he was a tourist and he kept claiming he was! Never mind that though but well I forgot to bring extra clothes >.< And im going to a beach... You're lacking common sense my dear writer. Overall only Elywin, Kenny, me, Ming Yong, Yan Ling, Jess and Ping came sadly :( and ah Yong had to go home early for dinner so only the 6 of us went back to Vivo and ate Carls Jr. Was a big surprise!

Their medium = our large?. I nearly couldnt finish the burger and meal off but sigh in the end Kenny kept joking about Carls Jr. and he said "Damn You Carls. Jr!" when we were leaving cause he ate till he nearly puked :P. We tried to talk about sick stuff or food to make him do that but nah in the end we stopped it. Sat down somewhere and talked with the occasional joke about Carls Jr. or Chuck Norris coming in like : Beef is nice but not when its from Carls Jr. . Got a few drinks then later went to Harbourfront MRT area to talk some more before going our seperate ways.

Sigh I'm bloody tired now... Guess i'll go sleep early lol :P

A surprise call ...

Current State: Surprised O.o


I expected today to be like a normal day with a balanced dosage of gaming and work and my dad would be taking me out later to get some groceries and all but surprisingly i received a call from a friend of mine, Bun and Galahad, but poor Galahad had to go home cause of his mom.

I bet the call was like this:

SHMOMMY: You better come home now for dinner or else I'll F5 you through the table!
Galahad: *Cowers in fear and agrees to go home*

So oh well Bun came alone and Wow had a ton of figurines in his hand. 120 dollars + worth. Kinda amazed at how much he can spend as a figurine collector...

In the end, we rushed Metal Slug 3 to the end before he left, kinda fun to play such games with friends. But all good times have to come to an end and yeah he left with his mom scolding him over the phone... Guess when he reached home, the mom said harlo in a very "friendly" manner.

Putting that aside, now to decide if should i go for a b.ball game tommorow or go to Sentosa instead. Hmm.. the choice... Anyways gonna go and do some work now :)

Well today.. my friends, niku man, Ben Ng and James Yeo came over today and had some fun here, we played games and what not and also joked around alot with one
another.

James was talking about his PKing in MU lol heard alot of people dying, Bun was on his Stepmania and Ben Ng well... not too sure on him but anyway we still took turns to play some rounds of Counter-Strike, kinda fun time.

Oh well kinda tired attending to my guests and I've just realised I havent been studying... LOL! Gotta get started ASAP or else I would die after the vacations >.<
